Our relaxing reading retreats are designed for this! Spend your days reading by the
saltwater pool, at the beach, or in your room as you listen to the monkeys play. Meet
other book lovers and discuss your favorite reads.

Our host, Nereus Retreats, is a beautiful family-run boutique retreat center in Puerto
Jimenez, a town that feels like it is at the end of the world. Nestled on the Osa
Peninsula, the hotel has its own jungle-path access to the beach and some of the
greatest biodiversity found anywhere in the world. The hotel is a fantastic space to
unplug, relax, and focus on that book you have been meaning to finish.

While here you can luxuriate in the feeling that you have nothing else to do but read- no
cooking, no work, no hurrying to be anywhere. We do it all for you- all meals are
included, as are daily yoga sessions, bookish happy hours, and a kayak trip to explore
the natural wonders of the area. We will even provide you with new books to read- one
group book that we will discuss at our retreat Book Club and another of your choosing.

This retreat is perfect for avid readers, or those who want to get back into the joy of
reading.
