Meet Karisa, a lifelong learner with a passion for holistic wellbeing. Originally from Colorado, she embarked on her journey of self-discovery in 2020, when she completed her esthetician training. Following her desire for adventure, Karisa ventured to England to work as an au pair, learning more about herself and challenging her limits.

Upon returning to her roots, Karisa achieved an associate’s degree in integrative health in 2023. This academic endeavor opened doors for her to obtain a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification and reiki certifications, enhancing her skillset in holistic wellness.

At Nereus, Karisa specializes in bodywork, offering rejuvenating Ayurvedic-style facials and massages, providing guests with a deeply relaxing experience.

Beyond her professional life, Karisa finds solace in the great outdoors, embracing activities including climbing, hiking and camping. Her profound connection with nature and love of fostering community make her a true wanderer and earth enthusiast.
